Metal Gear Solid 4 On Xbox 360?

In the past few months, we have seen the repeating trend of once exclusive Sony Playstation games making the jump to Microsoft’s Xbox 360. First it was Grand Theft Auto at last years Electonics Entertainment Expo, and more recently the revered Virtua Fighter 5.
From a developers standpoint it just makes sense. By expanding the number platforms your game is on, you will reach far more consumers, and ultimately make more money.
Now it looks like Sony may be losing perhaps their biggest gun in the current console war: Metal Gear Solid 4. Evil Avatar reports that on a recent Microsoft sponsored survey, consumers were asked the following questions:
“Would you like to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?”
“Would you buy an Xbox 360 just to play Metal Gear Solid 4?”
“On a scale of 0-100, with zero being not at all satisfied and 100 being very satisfied, how would you rate Konami’s output on Xbox 360 to date?”
Make of it what you want, and keep in mind that this is just a rumor. But, with this rumor consistently popping almost every month throughout various sources it is hard not to believe that we won’t see MGS4 on the 360 sometime in the near future.
It may not debut alongside its Playstation 3 version, but its not like a Metal Gear game hasn’t appeared on Microsoft’s platform before. After a timed exclusive stint on the Playstation 2, Sons of Liberty eventually appeared on the original Xbox.

Is it too early to start playing Taps?
If this happens, and the rumors of Devil May Cry 4 also being developed for 360, then MS will just need Square Enix to port FFXIII for the final nail in the PS3’s coffin.
