Game Developers Conference March 5th – 9th 2007

For those who love the CES or the E3, let me introduce you to another fun conference known as the GDC. The Game Developers Conference will be held this year in San Francisco March 5th to the 9th. I will be attending this year and I will be taking my film crew and will be filming and interviewing anything cool and fun, along with cool after the fun.
On a more serious note, if you are looking to get into the gaming industry or you have a game or a mod you created this is the only way you will get any true public relations and meet other people like your self. At the conference there is always a section for cool game coders, modelers, animators and mappers with resume and demo real in hand so that alone is why a lot of people show up.
On top of that, if you are attending a game college or creating a game or mod, you can submit your work to the IGF who in return will play your submission and if they feel it is worthy they will select you to show off your project in a booth. There is a submission fee for the contest but if you get selected the public relations for your project alone is worth it. Not to mention you win some great prizes.
