Old School DS Modding [Updated]

One of the hippest things to do these days is take an ordinary consumer device, and pimp it out for some nerd cred. Ben Heck has made a big name for himself creating Wii Laptops, Xbox 360 Laptops, one handed controllers, and general wacky gaming mods.
Similar to what Heck has done, TechEBlog has went ahead and posted their 5 favorite Nintendo DS Case Mods. These retro throwback tributes feature enough detail to get your average Nintendo Fanboy persperating like pop star Fergie’s private parts.

They all look nice, and call me spoiled, but I just can’t help but think these would look so much better on a DS Lite. Not entirely a bad idea if you have a spare DS Phat laying around though.
