Famitsu Shows Off New Wii Paper Mario Screenshots

Originally for the Nintendo GameCube, Super Paper Mario screenshots have debuted in the uber-popular Japanese magazine Famitsu, and they look quite hot. While the Wii struggles to bring new IPs into the fold as well as third party titles, they’ll always have fun Mario- and Zelda-based titles.
Some of the innovations of the “Mario in 1D” platformer is the ability to switch from 2D to 3D environments on the fly. Intelligent Systems’ game jumps into US stores on April 9th.
