Coming up to the release of the latest installment in the Command and Conquer series: Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is the PC demo.
This 1.2 GB demo marks the eighth installment in the popular RTS franchise. It features three total missions, one being the tutorial, a skirmish map, and a couple of videos.
There is still no word on an Xbox 360 demo, but one can assume that it is surely on the way. It’s probably more a matter of Microsoft’s lengthy certification process.
Tiberium Wars is set to hit store shelves March 26 for the PC version, and a few months later on May 8 for its Xbox 360 counterpart.

Hopefully there is a 360 demo en route. About the “lengthy certification process”… Yes, it certainly does take quite a bit of time, but I ask why it’s there. It obviously doesn’t work as well as you’d hope it would for as long as it takes. Case in point being… well, pretty much every XBLA title that works its way out the door. The online in particular seems like it’s always really laggy and sometimes there are lots of glitches to the game itself. With such a strict and lengthy process to certify these titles, how does all the bad get through? Perhaps they need to re-evaluate the whole process. Or at least shorten it. By a lot.
