GameFly Driven To Crackdown? Top Of the Charts!

GameFly’s top rental of the week is Crackdown, for the Xbox 360. Does this define the game as a stand-alone product without the Halo 3 beta drawing sales?
If Microsoft did their jobs right, Crackdown was hyped for the Halo 3 beta and stuck because of the fun gameplay. This game may have hit Top Rental because its awesome, because gamers think they can game the system and get a free Halo 3 beta license or maybe there was no other cool game releases?
In any case, Crackdown has proven itself as a game people like and not second to the beta invitation.
For the uninitiated, Crackdown must be present in your Xbox 360’s drive to play the Halo 3 beta and the beta has to have started… which it hasn’t. So, if you’re renting the game thinking you’ll be Halo 3′ing - tough lucky smart guy, try again.
