Last year, Bungie and the folks at Marvel released the Halo Graphic Novel to the many avid fans of the beloved first person shooter. The 128 page comic collection featured many comic book industry veterans, who published four different stories that further explained some of the Halo universe.
The reception of the novel was overall pretty positive. So much so that in an interview with Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, he revealed that Marvel has decided to give the go ahead to an ongoing monthly series.
Marvel is pulling out all stops to ensure that this isn’t some lackluster waste of paper by putting one of the biggest names in comics as the writer: Brian Bendis.
Bendis has worked on several of the most popular comics series, including: House of M, Ultimate X-men, Ultimate Spider-man, Secret War, and the Avengers.
Halo fanboys rest easy, this series is definitely in good hands.
