April To See Resistance Episodic Content?

Phil Harrison, Sony’s worldwide studios president, mentions a few Resistance updates for their PlayStation 3 franchise. He says:
“we have some really, really cool things that will be extending the story, extending the locations, some brand new content, starting in April. So if that works well and is well-received by the audience, then that will keep the engagement with game going between now and should there be a sequel at some point in the future.”
If you’re a big Resistance: Fall of Man fan, support the content by purchasing it. This will show Sony that people like the franchise and will spur them on to create more titles and downloadable content.
If Sony doesn’t get the response they want we’re sure they’ll find a new avenue to tackle, maybe a different game title and simply drop or re-design the franchise. Thus far, many gamers have complained about its lack of substance - such is the way with launch titles.
If you’re not a fan of Resistance, be patient because it was, after all, a launch title. Remember Perfect Dark Zero for the Xbox 360? Wasn’t as big as they wanted it to be, yet months after its launch it received patches which some say created the game it should have been at launch.
If history is a good judge of character, many game franchises get better with age. Well, except Sonic…
