I saw a full palate of 60GB versions at Fry's last week-end. I ended up going twice and it didn't seem as though the stack shrunk at all. Must have been at least 50 of them, easy.

50 x $1200 = $60,000. Oops. But I went twice, so $120,000. :^)

First off, I hated E.T. I mean, I spent hours floating up into the air? For what!?

I'd rather be eaten twenty times in a Wumpus hunt.

My mother works in retail (wal-mart) and she used to call me when a PS3 would come in (so I could auction them on eBay). Well - after repeated calls I had to say "no more." Every day? What's the point in getting an urgent call if they were always there.

Now, they sit on the shelves for day before anyone picks one up. Why? I believe it's because Wal-Marts clients are more "bargain hunters" and not high-end equipment purchasers.

A Nintendo Wii lasts about as long as it would take to eat five hot dogs (a little Earthlink pun there).

I think a lot of stores like Target, Wal-Mart and others have a harder time moving them compared to a place like Best Buy or Circuit City where customers are there to buy big stuff (in many cases).

I do believe, however, Penny-Arcade found their products in places like Best Buy and Circuit City.
