Episodic Dreamfall Series Announced

Funcom has announced in a press release that they would follow the lead of Telltale Games and GameTap (Sam & Max Season One) in issuing followups to the popular The Longest Journey series with The Dreamfall Chronicles, which follows the events of the second game Dreamfall: The Longest Journey II.
Hopefully, they’ll do it right like the Sam & Max series, which has already the fourth chapter on the horizon released, and not like Valve’s Half-Life 2 episodic disaster, with just one short episode having been released and the second chapter constantly delayed. Note to Gabe Newell: people expect episodes to be released with regularity and speed.
The series has been announced for PC and “console”, which implies old-gen like the PlayStation 2 and (possibly) the Xbox in addition to current-gen.

Actually, Sam and Max episode 4 is already available, on GameTap, at least.
