Tekken 5 Out For Playstation Network

Following up on what has been a surprising flurry of Playstation Network games and announcements is the arcade port of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.

The game has been available in Japan for quite a while, although some of the craftier PS3 owners have figured out how to get around that, but now its officially available here in the United States.

It’ll ring you up $20 to download this 800 MB downloadable. It takes full advantage of 1080P resolution, but lacks what many fighting fans really want in a Tekken port: online play.

Its certainly good news for PS3 owners to start seeing the promise of downloadable content starting to come true. It took a little while for the Xbox Live Marketplace to kick in to gear, and here’s hoping Sony can pull it off just as well.
