Next Gen Biz is reporting that Microsoft is impressing the convention goers at Game Developers Conference 2007:
Microsoft brought out its top developers to showcase the titles. Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux was flown in from England to show off Fable 2, Mistwalker’s Hironobu Sakaguchi gave presentations on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, and BioWare co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka previewed the action role-playing game Mass Effect. Microsoft also showed off Forza Motorsport 2, Shadowrun, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, and a host of new titles for Xbox Live.
We’ve already reported Sony’s efforts to boost the PlayStation 3, which seem to be working, but Microsoft is proving, if nothing else, it knows how to put on a show (see: last year’s E3 and X06) If you’re a 360 owner, how excited are you for 2007?

Wow, so this is the result of the E3 failure, eh?
I’ve been to the GDC, as a developer, and what I wanted to see was development products and how you can make my life, as a developer easier.
Product demos? Showing off releases? How does that help the developer?
What I saw, was Black & White (it was a few years ago) explaining how it utilizes the Immersion technology. This included Immersion representatives, CD’s of API’s and documentation, etc.
Now it’s becoming a showcase? Pfft.
