First Look at Schizoid

1UP has a first look at the first XNA-created game to be officially snagged for Xbox Live Arcade publication. The official Microsoft description is “Schizoid is a co-op action game in which teamwork matters like never before, as gamers and their friend or AI ally protect each other from barrages of glowing enemies.” Apparently, you pick your color, and that determines what kind of enemy you can kill – and you depend on your partner to destroy the enemies you can’t defeat. Co-op goodness. The look of the game itself looks like Pac-Man meets Geometry Evolved.
The game is made by Torpex, which is headed by Bill Dugan, who worked on Spider-Man 3 as the Creative Director, so it’s not a game made by some unknown homecook developer, but the future looks bright for dev-wannabes. Are you excited for the future of fan-made XNA/XBLA games?
(Thanks, 1UP.)
