It’s a well known fact among the gaming community that director Steven Spielberg is into the idea of making video games. In fact, he has even had an office in at Electronic Arts for quite some time. But since Spielberg and EA began collaborating together we haven’t really seen any of the fruits of their labor.
It looks like that is all about to change now though, as GameDaily interviewed VP of EA Los Angeles, Neil Young, who mentioned that among other “Spielberg Productions,” they are working on a Wii specific title.
Young had this to say when asked about Spielberg’s involvement:
The second project is something Lou Castle is producing, one of the great producers in this industry, and that’s one of the products we’re building for the Wii. Very exciting and interesting…
No release date, nor other details were mentioned, but I’m sure this will be a title worth looking forward to, given Spielberg’s undeniable success in the movie industry.
