Jagged Alliance: The Movie

Yet another video game will be turned into a movie, GamaSutra reports. For those of you who don’t know the series, Jagged Alliance is a turn-based, tactical squad strategy game in which you hire mercenaries to accomplish various goals, whether it’s assassination, taking photos, or just wiping out another group.
While the games are excellent, and the long pined for Jagged Alliance 3 was announced last December, one must wonder how a game based on this series would be any different than most “mercenaries-in-the-jungle” films, though the plot of Jagged Alliance 2 featured a science-fiction plot involving strange creatures.
So long as Uwe Boll stays far away from this project…
