Hand-Held 360 Rumor?

Based on a press-release by AMD talks about designing console-quality games in a hand-held device. SPoNG suggests this there could be a future hand-held Xbox 360 based on a few lines in the press release that read:
These technologies will include support for both the OpenVG 1.0 and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics standards, and will incorporate the same AMD patented Unified Shader Architecture that drives the visual experience behind the Microsoft Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system.
However, it seems to us AMD is just trying to keep themselves in the press after the Intel mashing with their Core Duo. Theoretically AMD may be talking hand-held as an outlet for gaming because Nintendo and Sony have found some success in the industry (more Nintendo than Sony of course).
Mentioning Microsoft’s name in the press release may just be pointing out their credibility with past technologies and the fact that a hand-held could indeed wield as much power a 360 - but that doesn’t mean Microsoft wants to get involved in that… right?
