Guitar Hero II (Xbox 360) Gone Gold!

This may please many of you waiting to wield your virtual axe in favor of downloadable content and achievements. Gamespot is reporting that Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 has officially gone gold.

The game, which mad a pretty impressive debut on the Playstation 2 is set to hit retail stores near you on April 3, 2007. It will feature the promises of downloadable content, the standard achievements, as well as a few new songs all for the price of $89.99.

One of the biggest selling points for Guitar Hero II is Co-op play, in which two gamers wield their plastic six stringed beasts, while playing both bass and lead guitar. For those looking to play with a buddy by buying an extra guitar for $59.99.
