It’s Official: Devil May Cry 4 On Xbox 360 and PC

Look down the barrel of his gun...Well, it’s official: Devil May Cry 4 is officially no longer a Sony exclusive, and scheduled for release on both the Xbox 360 and PC. While this is a plus for those platforms, it is even more of a minus for Sony and the PlayStation 3, which is losing exclusives left and right. It’s a no-brainer for Capcom as well. They’re probably thinking about those Dead Rising and Lost Planet sales, and thinking, “Well, if relatively unknown IPs get THAT sort of love from 360 owners, imagine what an established, popular IP will get!”

Is this one of the final nails in the coffin for the PlayStation 3, or will that term be reserved for if and when Metal Gear Solid 4 defects and becomes multiplatform?

(Thanks, Joystiq.)
