If one looks at Konami’s Xbox Live Arcade site, one will notice underneath Castlevania: Symphony of the Night this:
Number of Players: 1-2
Xbox Live® Multiplayer: Yes
Release Date: March 2007

Now, Konami can predict a March 28 release (since that’s the last remaining Wednesday of March), but that doesn’t mean it’ll be released on that date; it’s Microsoft’s say and their certification. But, maybe Konami knows something we don’t.
Whatever the case, this version will feature an enhanced mode with 3D models and high-def particle effects, and a co-op mode.
