So, How Does The Wii Work?

While the Nintendo Wii’s technology isn’t really that impressive on a graphical level, Nintendo has managed to get gamers once again saying “how does this thing work?” just as they did 20 years ago with the NES Light Gun.
Popular Science, in their How It Works section went ahead and dissected the Wii to find out what makes that Wii-mote tick, and put it in layman’s terms, complete with some animated pictures.
Sure, it may not be all that exciting, but it’ll provide you with a new perspective and bring to light that maybe the Wii isn’t exactly suffering from a technologic deficiency.
My only regret: having to read the word “Wiitopsy.” Disgusting.
