Final Version of Opera Wii Browser Delayed

The Opera based Nintendo Wii web browser is little more than a novelty and proof-of-concept kind of idea, but some users out there must care about it, and they’ll be sad to know the final version of the broser is delayed until next month.

What may excite them though is the reason: to add new features. The browser which will cost you 500 Wii Points ($5 USD) if you choose to download anytime after June, and will feature the following enhancements:

  • Improved zooming/scrolling
  • Improved zoom font
  • Start up time shortened
  • Faster bookmark access
  • Toolbar hiding
  • “www.” and “.com” Virtual keyboard options

Do any of you actually use the Wii for web browsing though?
