Capcom: Dead Rising, Lost Planet 360 Exclusive (For Now?)

In the Capcom forums, senior director of strategic planning and research Christian Svensson, reacting to the whole Devil May Cry 4 multiplatform outcry, stated ”Dead Rising and Lost Planet are not slated to appear on Wii or PS3″ and that NDA’s prevented him from speaking further on the subject, which sort of hints that Microsoft has a contract with Capcom to either keep the titles exclusive to the Xbox 360, or, more likely, have a limited-time exclusivity deal with the Xbox 360 and a silence clause on multiplatform releases until after the deal expires, which is what Sony and Rockstar did with the Grand Theft Auto III games.
What do you think? Is this proof of future incarnations of Dead Rising and Lost Planet for other systems, or is it a true exclusivity deal with Microsoft? Comment away.

I think they’ll use this opportunity to make a DirectX 10 version of Dead Rising 2 and promote it on Vista.
That would be the smartest move in my opinion. The PC market is probably bigger than the PS3 market (or at least Vista installs once real games come out for that OS)
Maybe that’s just what I want to happen, but it makes sense, doesn’t it?
