November 11th until March 23rd is a little less than a year by my calendar.

And according to my launch day experience it all went fine for Sony ... at least where I bought my PS3 last Friday. The pre-order guys like me picked up their consoles and the normal buyer could pick up one as well. Out of the 80 consoles at my store around 50 were gone in the first 30 to 45 minutes and the rest of them wasn't there this afternoon when I picked up a second wireless controller.

I don't think Sony's PS3 is dead yet, Sony has a lot of money. Considering how much they've lost (you could start a third world country with that much) - I don't think their ready to call it a loss.

They've got a lot of money to make up. Interestingly, it's fun to speculate and watch things unfold. Ten years from now we can tell our kids about the console wars! :)
