First Pictures of 360 Elite? Official Announcement Wednesday?

Pictures of the Xbox 360 Elite have apparently popped up on an obscure foreign message board. The pictures certainly appear to show the elusive rumored system at a late point in the manufacturing process.
All this new information on the Elite seems to lead us to an official Microsoft announcement which will reportedly occur on Wednesday, as assured by Wired.com blogger Chris Kohler today, who posted:
”a Microsoft rep emailed this morning to tell me that the Xbox 360 group would be making some ‘very exciting announcements’ on Wednesday, offering me an interview with Xbox hardware team manager Albert Penello.
Obviously, this isn’t 100% confirmation, but I’m pretty comfortable sticking my neck out on this one”
We’ll just have to wait and see, but all of this sounds promising.
