Today’s Virtual Console Titles: March 26

While we have grown accustomed to accepting at least one huge game from Nintendo’s excellent backlog of titles each week on the Virtual Console, we should definitely take note that there are still a tremendous amount of games out there that never quite cut the mustard.
And nothing brings that cold, shrewd reality to us better than this week’s release. Instead of getting one good title amongst many inferior games, Nintendo is re-releasing only one game this week: Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire for the SNES.
It’s a strategy game that probably not too many gamers have heard of; originally released in July of 1995. What’s this game about? Let’s consult Wikipedia:
In this update, ships can make other ships catch on fire. As well, archers can also fire flaming arrows at other soldiers and catapults.
If that’s enough to deprive you of your hard earned cash, you can pick this one up today for 800 Wii Points.

Romance of the 3 Kingdoms 3 was excellent. 4, however, was rather a disappointment. There was a major improvement in the graphics, but the interface sucked.
