Rumor: Time Crisis Series Coming To PS3

One of the biggest hits in the arcade for me growing up has to be the Time Crisis series. Sure, it’s on rails, point and shoot interface is relatively simple, and the graphics weren’t exactly all that impressive, but partnered up with a buddy, the game is such a blast.
What’s interesting though, is a listing on EBgames.com showing Time Crisis 4 for the Playstation 3. There’s not really any more details other than it’ll be $90 USD, and ships on November 17 (probably a placeholder date).
It’s not exactly the killer app we’ve been looking for on the PS3, but still good news for fans of the game/genre. What keeps me skeptical though is how they are going to do a light gun game for a (mostly) HDTV audience.
People who’ve tried to hook up their NES to play a few rounds of Duck Hunt will know that light guns were built around CRT technology, and that they haven’t exactly implemented a working light gun technology for HDTVs.
