This Week’s New Releases: March 26

This week’s new releases are headlined by the next installment in one of the biggest franchises in PC gaming: Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. The game, is debuting this week on the PC, but will hit Xbox 360 owners on May 8. If you’re still unsure about this series’ relevancy, be sure to check out the demo first.

On the console front we have Medal of Honor: Vanguard for both the Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Wii. Which system should you buy it for? According to 1up’s Garnett Lee on the 1UP Yours Podcast, you should steer away from the Wii version. He mentions that the best part about the game is throwing grenades, and the visuals are actually a downgrade on Nintendo’s new-gen console.

Continuing on the trend of late bloomers on the Playstation 3, we’ll see a port of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Fans of the series without a 360 might want to pick this one up, as it’ll be the last Splinter Cell release on a Sony console due to Microsoft’s exclusivity deal.

Finally, for the kids we have Disney’s Meet the Robinsons, hitting literally every console on the market today (even the Gamecube!). In case you haven’t figured it out yet, it’s the licensed game of the upcoming Pixar flick hitting this week on March 30.
