New Guitar Hero II Content Up On Marketplace

Gamers who can’t get enough of the 70+ tracks on Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360 now have the opportunity to experience the tracks from the game’s prequel. 500 MS Points will be the damage for a pack of three songs including:
- Bark At the Moon: Ozzy Osbourne
- Hey You: The Exies
- Ace of Spades: Motorhead
- Killer Queen: Queen
- Take it Off: The Donnas
- Frankenstein: The Edgar Winter Group
- Higher Ground: The Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Infected: Bad Religion
- Stellar: Incubus
It’s cool that they’re putting them up there, but the price just doesn’t seem right for what you’re getting. 500 MS Points ($6.25 USD) for three songs? Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s a little steep…
There’s also two picture packs–each 100 MS Points and a Guitar Hero II theme up for 150 MS Points.

Fortunately, with that 1600 MS Points deal with Circuit City, I bought all three packs with 100 MS points to spare.
I particularly love Killer Queen, though Ace of Spades and Frankenstein are really really good, too.

Can we get some more recent music? I know this game caters to the classic rock, but the downloadable content would be a good opportunity to offer newer songs. I would love to see Perfect Situation by Weezer.
