Contrary to what many younger gamers may believe, and similarly to the Ninja Gaiden series, Prince of Persia’s been around for almost two decades. While the original version didn’t have the deep gameplay and story that the series is now known for, it did manage to capitalize on being on virtually every system at the time to become a nostalgic favorite among many gamers.
Possibly envying the ESRB over their little slip up a few days ago, the German videogame ratings board: German Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontroll let out that just yesterday they tested and rated an Xbox Live Arcade version of the original Prince of Persia.
It’s a good plan, especially to net some money from many of gamers out there who suffer from nostalgic impulse buying. Permitted it’s a fair price, this first iteration could prove to be quite successful as a downloadable game.
