Thompson Blames VA Tech Shootings On Guess What?…Videogames

Jack Thompson, the leading attorney on the “videogames are murder simulators” campaign has never been one to just sit back when mass killings are heavily involved in the news.
Thompson, who is already preparing for trial on a possible disbarment in Florida, appeared on Fox News blaming the the events of today’s Virginia Tech. massacre, on our favorite past time.
Why is it that every time there’s a school shooting the first man they turn to is Jack Thompson? Already faced with the possibility of losing his practicing license, Thompson wouldn’t exactly be the most credible choice to pontificate on the matter. Whether Fox News contacted him, or vice-versa it seems like Jack is always waiting there, ready to further defamate the world of videogames, especially Rockstar and their GTA series.

Of course they turn to him. It’s media whoring that is getting him more coverage which in turn gets him disbarred faster. It’s a necessary evil.
