Guitar Hero III Goes Wireless?

Guitar Hero III is being developed by Neversoft, an Activision developer most remembered for the Tony Hawk series. They’re making improvements on the last two Guitar Hero games, of course, and it just wouldn’t be the same if they didn’t change up some peripherals a bit.
Kai Huang, president of RedOctane, also confirmed all the peripherals released for Guitar Hero III will be completely wireless.
These “peripherals” they’re speaking of…does this include the guitar itself? We know there was a “jack” in the bottom of the guitar which can expanded to include some type of pedal. However, the only “peripheral” that would really need wireless-ness is the guitar itself.
It’s well known that Guitar Hero II, on the Xbox 360 was recently released with a price tag of USD $89.99 because it came with a guitar. Will the next release pressure 360 gamers to buy yet another guitar so they’ll be able to shred wirelessly?
(Thanks, 1up.)

Don’t buy a wired guitar then. When you get GH3, you’ll have your second guitar, and it’ll be wireless.
