After reports over at shacknews.com that STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl was “borrowing” a number of graphic assets directly from such games as Half-Life 2 and Doom 3. It turns out that in fact they were part of a texture pack sold by Marlin Studios.
Valve as confirmed that it used some textures from Marlin for Half-Life 2. As well, other sources have found that the IMP_Light texture that was though to be pulled from Doom 3 was actually just a standard Impact Light texture, then for the Doom 3 Baddie.
