Beautiful Katamari Damacy Confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3, Maybe Wii [UPDATE]

Now, that's just disturbingThe news is spreading like wildfire ever since Japanese uber-console fanboy magazine Famitsu broke the news: Beautiful Katamari Damacy has been announced for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, but oddly, not the Nintendo Wii, which is mildly baffling since the gameplay would suit the Wiimote to a T.

For those of you who have been living under a rock, Katamari Damacy is about a 5 centimeter tall Prince who goes around rolling around a magic ball that objects stick to, all to please his dad, the King of the Cosmos. Weird? You bet. Fun? Most definitely, and an exciting release for next-gen platforms.

(Thanks, Xbox 360 Fanboy.)

[UPDATE: According to 1UP, there MIGHT be a Wii version, but development will be tricky to take advantage of the Wiimote.]
