Jack Thompson’s Out Of Leads: Who’s Next?

We’ve got to find a way to Keep Jack Thompson busy before he finds a new reason to blame video games on something. He’s attempted to blame video games on the VA Tech shootings but that didn’t turn out so well for him – no video games where in the killer’s possession. He has tried time and time again to go after Take Two Interactive for their Grand Theft Auto and Bully titles and now what?
Jack Thompson settled with Take Two in which Take Two agreed to drop their lawsuit against him if he agreed to leave them alone for Manhunt 2 and their upcoming GTA IV title launches. This means Jack Thompson will have plenty of free time to attack other violent video games – who’s next? Perhaps the 2008 release of Mortal Kombat or maybe Halo 3?
Let’s face it, Thompson will be free to find a game with a gun and call it a massacre training application or a kill simulator. He’s off Take Two’s back for a few releases but others may be targets for the next lawsuit.
