Dune Buggies In Next Crackdown Update

It may alarm you that many people didn’t buy Microsoft’s first party title, Crackdown exclusively for the Halo 3 Beta. Okay, well maybe not “many” people, but those that did come away with their Beta tickets didn’t exactly feel all too ripped off with their $60 investment. This GTA clone turned out to be a little more than the common denominator of the sandbox genre.
Those few can now look forward to the upcoming downloadable content for Realtime World’s open world crime-buster. Today TeamXbox got the exclusive screenshot on one new vehicle that’ll enter Pacific City: the dune buggie. Maybe it’s a take or jab towards Sony’s Motorstorm series, or maybe it’s just to add a hell of a lot of fun to the mountainous terrain, but it’s definitely a welcome improvement on my hard drive.
As of now, there’s currently no planned release date for the update, nor do we know if this will be part of the previously announced free content.
