Guitar Hero’s Rocking The 80’s!

Guitar Hero is going to be rocking the 1980’s with their next expansion creatively called Rocks the 80’s. The game will release with 30 songs from the 1980’s.
With such artists as Ratt and Flock of Seagulls can the song-list possibly be bad? A few songs they’ve let out thus far (including one song suggested here in an editorial):
- I Wanna Rock (by Twisted Sister)
- I Ran (by Flock of Seagulls)
- Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)
- I Want Candy (as made famous by Bow Wow Wow)
- Metal Health (as made famous by Quiet Riot)
- Holy Diver (as made famous by Dio)
- Heat Of The Moment (as made famous by Asia)
No price has been set but so far Activision reports this as a PlayStation 2 “exclusive.” No, not the PlayStation 3, nobody wants that- PlayStation 2. You know, that last-generation console.
Journalists and bloggers are asking the question “wtf?” Would they seriously leave out the Xbox 360 in their release platform? Rumors of “a downloadable content release” for the Xbox 360 have been heard, but without official word we’re just going to call this a PlayStation 2 exclusive.
Activision, let’s hear the official word so we can start flaming you…
