MajorNelson.com is announcing a whole slew of downloadable content coming for Crackdown, including a patch an update, some free stuff and some charged stuff, some of which we’d already heard about.
The free patch update includes the ability to reset the gangs, including leaders, the ability for 4 star strength agents to do a Hulk-like ground tremor attack, and camera issue fixes.
The “Free For All Pack” is a free pack that is activated with a cheat code (disabling Achievements and Leaderboards), and allows agents to do crazy things, like run like the Flash, throw enemies into the stratosphere, give infinite ammo, or jump from one end of the city to the other. It might sound trite, but imagine the battles between two super super agents in Co-Op. Speaking of Co-Op, it also includes more recognition for winning trials with a partner, adding a trophy icon. It also includes the “missing” 100 Achievement Points.
The “Getting Busy” pack is an 800 Microsoft Point ($10) pack, where the real DLC meat is, as well as 250 additional Achievement Points.
It adds three new Agency vehicles: a dune buggy, a racecar, and an armored vehicle. In addition, it comes with a Street Tracing mode in which all enemies are wiped from the streets to allow you and a Co-op player to compete in a race with up to eleven, yes, eleven, racers. The mode also comes with a five new weapons and items including a cloaking device, which takes the player off the radar and makes them almost invisible.
And if that weren’t enough, four new types of trials are added, including a game called “Rocket Tag”, with the Hunter owning a Hotshot rocket launcher, and the Hunted owns… a pistol.
