MGS4 On 360? Crazy Talk

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is one of the few threads Sony still has in console relevancy. The overpriced Playstation 3 just doesn’t seems as valid of a choice for many gamers when you can get the exact same (if not better in some aspects) experience on a machine $200 cheaper.
MGS4 has been heavily rumored to be coming out on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 for several months now, and on the company’s official podcast, Ryan Payton of Kojima Productions issued a rather interesting statement, all but confirming the existence of a 360 port in some form or another:
I can tell you honestly at this point, we have not changed the game in any form with the idea of ‘oh, we got to do this on 360.’ Put aside whether or not we’re developing for 360 or not, the game is built on the PS3 hardware, as you guys have known for the past two years or so.
It doesn’t exactly confirm what it may allude to, and it’s all in the theoretical tense, but what’s there seems pretty convincing that somewhere along the line the game will be on the 360 — most likely after a timed exclusivity on Sony’s console.

I’m not a fan of MGS4, but I’m a fan of anything that makes the 360 lineup fatter.

I hope that the 360 gets MGS, that way many people who wish to play it will not be forced to buy a ps3. Almost all of the other 3rd party games that I want appear to be coming out for both systems.
I don’t own either a ps3 or a xbox360, having too much fun catching up on my late entry into the ps2 from the pc world. This game might decide if I eventually buy a Xbox360 or a PS3.
I would hope that if they are making a port of MGS4, that they would also put out an ported version of MGS3, to catch xbox only people up on the story. Is MGS2 backwards compatable on the xbox360?
(MGS1 as a downloadable game on xbox live would be huge also, although the graphics are dated, it is a much better game than I thought MGS2 was.)
