Bungie Makes First Halo 3 Beta Playlist Update

The eight-player cap set in the Halo 3 Beta may be just fine for close quarters maps such as High Ground and Snowbound, but playing with only three other guys on the immensely huge Bloodgulch descendant, Valhalla can be just stressful, and everything but exhilarating at times.
Bungie’s taken note of the disappointment, and this week they’ll be issuing a matchmaking playlist update, eliminating the Team Training mode, in favor of a 6v6 Big Team Training mode. Bungie’s newest recruit Luke Smith states:
In Big Team Training players will play 6v6 on High Ground and Valhalla. In addition to some existing modes look for some new modes in Big Team Training, like Multi Flag CTF on Valhalla. Additionally, we’ve made some slight tweaks to the Team Skirmish playlist that should add greater variety in the opponents you’ll face.
Maybe this will stop many of the instant vetoes whenever Valhalla shows up on the party list.
Also of note: Fans of Halo 2 will be happy to hear that this update also unlocks the Banshee on Valhalla!
