If that was too much P.R. nonsense for you then let me break it down.
The GTA IV Art Book, featuring never-before-seen production artwork from GTA IV. Now everyone loves good artwork, but do I really want to look at production artwork of hookers, and gangbangers killing cops? Yea, cause that Gears of War artbook captivated the hearts of gamers everywhere.
Selected soundtrack CD from GTA IV, featuring material from top artists, only available on this release. This could be something special if Rockstar picks the right artists to display in the game and the CD. (It should be noted that I am a fanboy for original game music so this licensed music stuff doesn’t really interest me.)
An exclusive Rockstar keychain for the safety deposit box keys. So, not only does my “Special Edition” copy of GTA IV come in a safety deposit box but I get a Rockstar keychain to go with it. Oh yea, I am totally hanging that from my belt loop like those crazy emo kids.
Completing the collection is a limited edition Rockstar duffel bag. I’ve run out of witty things to say so how about you leave me some comments and tell me what you all think. Is $89.99 to expensive or is it a reasonable price compared to the Halo 3 legendary edition?

The soundtrack is an okay addition, but a safety deposit box? And a duffel bag? For $90? People will buy it, but the whole package just screams “rape time.” An artbook is worthless, as are the other items, and with the Halo 3 legendary edition, at least you can take Bungie’s track record of making every penny worth its value and more. I’ll take the standard edition, thank you very much Rockstar…
