Hah! You thought it was all about the Halo 3 multiplayer beta today, didn’t you? Well, you’re wrong - it’s not all about Halo 3 - this week marks the debut of Halo 2 for the PC, fat with a map editor, mouse-and-keyboard support and… Achievements. Yes, Halo 2 is the first PC game that will allow you to fatten your Gamerscore on Live.
Otherwise, the other major additions are UFO: Extraterrestrials, the X-COM clone we mentioned a month ago, for the PC and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End for every platform imaginable. There’s also Major League Baseball 2K7 for the (chuckle) GameBoy Advance. Since the DS version was so dreadful, it’s hard to imagine the GBA version being better. Diner Dash makes its debut for portables as well.
