Have a great idea for the Xbox Live Arcade that you won’t get any credit for? Want to help improve the gaming community? Tired of shoddy ports of old-school classics that just aren’t as memorable?
The Xbox PR Gamerscore blog is up to suggestions on all of the above and more:
Do you have a favorite game that you just can’t wait to see on Xbox LIVE Arcade? Is there some feature that you wish more Xbox LIVE Arcade games offered? (i.e. a specific game-play mode?) Are there non-game features that you’d like XBLA (the destination) to implement? Lastly, are there events or promotions that you wish were a regular occurrence on XBLA?
If you’re tired of all the junk cluttering up the Xbox Live Marketplace, or just have a great idea on how to improve the service, head over there and leave some suggestions in the comments.
My vote: Less of the arcade “classics” that lead many of us to an impulse buy based on pure nostalgia, only to find that maybe the coin-ops haven’t really stood the test of time. Give us more original content. Games such as Cloning Clyde gave us a real taste of what the service could be. And dammit, where is Geometry Wars 2.
