Original 360 Owners Get Their HDMI Fix

The outburst of A/V nerds was felt across the world when the announcement of an HDMI-equipped Xbox 360 was officially unveiled, leaving many with a “gimped” console. A third-party mod company, XCM, is claiming to introduce a solution for those who don’t want to upgrade, providing owners of the non-Elite 360s with an all digital 1080p signal via their third-party HDMI cable/converter.
We’re not sure exactly how they’ve accomplished such a feat (or if they truly have), and the description just brings more questions to mind:
This cable will be the world first HDMI 1080P cable for Regular Xbox 360,with this cable you can enjoy the digital 1080P output signal on HD TV

That’s it. Well, at least they were kind enough to include a complementary smiley face, but details on pricing, or what the heck we’ll have to solder on, or plug into our 360s would have been nice, too.
(Thanks, Joystiq.)
