Halo DS? Where is it IGN?

Two weeks ago we reported that IGN would be showing off Halo DS in one way, shape or form. Matt Casamassina of the IGN staff mentioned on the Wii-k in Review podcast from June 15th that they would indeed be proving its existence within the “next week or soon afterward”.

Well, well, well IGN… It’s two weeks later and it looks like we aren’t exactly “suck[ing] it long” and “suck[ing] it hard”. You seemed to come out with a big mouth and full of things to say but nothing to back it up with, sadly. We’d sure love to see this game that you claim to be real, but the fact that you totally blew your own set ballpark date that you’d be “owning” all the naysayers with makes this indeed a sad instance. While I’m sure there are many gamers out there who believe in its reality, it makes some of us curious as to why it didn’t come up. The Halo DS page is still as plain-jane as it was two weeks ago - what the hell?

Where’s this “proof” IGN? Where is the game you claimed to have played and vowed to show us, but have in fact told us nothing since the podcast? Sure, we’ll likely see it eventually, but IGN’s empty promise is surely a disappointment.

If you’re going to talk down to the naysayers, you’d better back up your smack talk - not doing so only fuels their fire.
