Star Wars Website Reveals New SIXAXIS?

Kotaku picked up on a very peculiar image located on the official website for Lucasart’s upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 depicting what looks to be either some PhotoShop trickery or an accidental leak of the new version of the SIXAXIS controller.
They took a card out of Nintendo’s bag of tricks with motion sensing, so why not rip off Microsoft’s design of their ergonomically friendly pad? The version of the SIXAXIS depicted swaps out the d-pad and left analog stick with one another, altering the proven formula that Sony has established in the past 10+ years.
Perhaps it’s an emphasis to make the PS3 appeal to the shooter-friendly fan base of the 360. Personally, playing through Resistance: Fall of Man seems more like a chore than it needs to be. To me, the stick placement just doesn’t feel quite as comfortable as the Xbox’s, leaving the left and right analog sticks feeling too close together.
But I’m just speculating. What do you guys think? Nifty PhotoShop job, honest mistake, or outright leak?

I hope that’s a terrible photoshop. God I hope so…

Ergonomically-friendly is NOT having 4 seperate buttons on the D-pad. Blecch.

I doubt thats real.
I also don’t see how re-positioning the stick makes it ergonomically friendly. If it is, then is your left hand in good shape while your right hand is getting screwed up?
Not that it matters, but did Microsoft copy Sony when they put the black and white buttons on the shoulders where they belong?

No, they just did what Logitech did a long time ago with PC gamepads.
