In an interview on Games Radar, Rockstar Games spokesman Hosi Simon stated when asked about if the PlayStation 3 version could match the Xbox 360 version and its downloadable content:
“…not that I can think of. They’re identical games. We’re not hardware makers, and we’re not like a pawn between these companies, we try not to be as much as we can. We make great games for people to enjoy on whichever system they want. But I guess if you want the complete experience with the episodes, then yeah, you should buy the 360, I suppose.”
This seems to indicate there will be no downloadable content for the PS3 version.

Since the word “exclusive” really doesn’t have the same meaning anymore, it’s certainly possible that the episodic content is a timed exclusive for the 360.
But I can’t imagine Microsoft would pay $50 million for timed exclusivity on episodic content. I still can’t believe they paid that much for episodic content in the first place.
I think this will be the first and last time you hear of Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo paying that kind of money for exclusive episodic content. I just don’t believe enough people are going to pay for the content to justify the $50 million.
But, then again, I hear the Guitar Hero II song packs are selling well…

Microsoft made a 17% profit this year - they can afford it. They’ll make all of that back from 1/3 of Halo 3’s launch day money. LOL

Which is sad, considering Halo’s despicable mediocrity.

Also, you defend this with money, yet you blatantly say that MGS WILL be on the 360…
