Wow, DG, pretty good article, try to make the next longer, K?

*If I had a ps3*

I'd really like the idea of Home. It sounds very innovative, and intriging. Instead of the crossmenu (which is with the ps3 too, if I'm correct) you go to your Home and start everything inside of Home.

That's much better than any menues.

And again, great job.

That's a good point. If they do decide to boot you straight into Home, that it's a voluntary thing. Not a mandatory thing.

I don't mind being booted directly into Home as long as it works the way they claim it will and the XMB is still available from inside Home. I don't really think they'd require you to boot into Home, then walk over to the movie theater or arcade just to watch a movie or play a game.

I imagine booting into Home would almost act as an interactive backdrop to the XMB. Once you're there, I'm sure you can just bring up the XMB like normal.
