Another game hits the 2008 delay train, as 1UP reports Age of Conan: Hyberorian Adventures will be delayed til March 2008.
According to Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aas, the delay is in large part based on feedback the team has received from the beta they are currently running. Trond says that there are “massive expectations” for the game and they have a better shot at delivering on them with this delay. Age of Conan’s director, Gaute Godager, also provided some feedback:
“We are honored by the immense reception our game is constantly getting, with an astounding amount of positive press coverage, awards and magazine covers, but we still see that we need to polish some aspects of the game even further, especially when it comes to the entry barriers. With the added development time we can now deliver something even more unique and powerful, something which is worthy of the incredible Conan legacy.”
