A new documentary about arcade game legends, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters opens on Friday, August 17th, and so far, has a 100% Tomatometer at Rotten Tomatoes.
I’m not sure these people are really cool or really pathetic, but having grown up in the late 1970’s and 1980’s when arcade games were all the rage, it does make me a little embarrassed to remember when arcade games were cool. Well, it’s cooler than Ace Ebb, anyway. Much cooler.
