GameFest: XBLA going to PC by Holiday ‘07

Will it be called GFWLA? That’s not quite as catchy as XBLA but, Microsoft has always been good at coming up with catchy names for their products. Or, maybe not:

In November, Microsoft will roll out a developer update for their Games For Windows Live tools in anticipation of Xbox Live Arcade games rolling out in “holiday 07.” The panel did not, however, reveal what games will make the leap from Xbox 360 to PC.

We’ve already seen Geometry Wars head to Vista sans Achievements and GFW LIVE integration. Let’s hope Microsoft makes good with portin’ XBLA games to Games for Windows LIVE~Arcade.

(Thanks, 1UP.)
